Attorney Matthew Underwood is an estate planning and business law attorney licensed to practice in Wisconsin. Matt earned his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Matt was born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. His interest in estate planning has its roots in his upbringing regarding the value of planning ahead and investing for one’s future. Matt has focused his career on estate and business planning, recognizing it as a core planning tool for those wanting to protect their future and that of their loved ones.
Prior to founding Underwood Legal, LLC, Matt served as an estate planner for the Ho-Chunk Nation through the Institute for Indian Estate Planning and Probate. Fulfilling his desire to focus on the field of estate planning, he merged his firm with Wilson Law Group.

Matt lives on the east side of Madison with his wife Chong Lor. Matt and Chong enjoy visiting National Parks, hiking and generally experiencing the great outdoors.
